Subang, July 11, 2025 – To celebrate the Islamic New Year, Muharram 1447 AH, the DAHANA Mosque Prosperity Council (MKM) organized a social initiative titled “SUARA: Donation to Orphans Achieving Hope.” The event took place at the DAHANA Mosque and welcomed 50 orphans from the surrounding community.
This program reflects the commitment of DAHANA’s MKM to the education and welfare of orphans, as well as its role in fostering community goodwill during this holy month.
“We aim to support the orphans and inspire them to achieve their dreams. The month of Muharram is an ideal time to extend our help and strengthen community ties,” remarked Ismail Kurbani, Chairman of the DAHANA Community Empowerment Center (MKM).
The orphans receiving assistance were from the Nurul Qur’an Hidayatullah Foundation, a social organization actively providing guidance in the Cibogo District, Subang Regency. The aid packages included school supplies such as bags, stationery, and other educational necessities.
The event began with an opening ceremony, a recitation of the Quran, and remarks from notable figures, including representatives from the Nurul Qur’an Hidayatullah Foundation and Ardias Febriananda, Coordinator of PT DAHANA’s Autonomous Bodies. The program also featured an interactive and enjoyable icebreaking session for the participants.
As a symbolic gesture, aid was presented directly to five representative children before concluding with a prayer. This initiative exemplifies the synergy between the company, the mosque, and the community, fostering a nurturing and empowering social environment.
